Hayley Orrantia, an American performer, actress and song writer. She is most famous for her role as Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy series "The Goldbergs". She is primarily the performer. When she was nine years old older, she started dabbling into music. The first time she began to study music professionally when she was 12. She began songwriting when she was 13 and was only 14 when she recorded her first collection of cover songs. The music hasn't budged back ever since. Orrantia is a native of America, but has Hispanic roots. Although she never lived or spoken Spanish in Mexico However, she is extremely proud of her Hispanic roots. To preserve her heritage, she's learned Spanish and has written songs in that language. 'Hasta Verte' a song she recorded in Spanish is an example of this. The summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the first episode of The X Factor. Orrantia received four "yeses" to the panel of judges on the Seattle live auditions after getting selected based on her YouTube video submission. Her initial audition was performing as a solo artist, however after "Hollywood Week" the three female performers were placed in an ensemble to go through the auditions. They were eliminated from the program during the fifth week of live performances.
